On Making a Website

Which is surprisingly annoying in the modern day; or maybe that’s because the last time I did this was in the early aughts. Back then, life was simple. Buy a domain and a hosting service, set up an FTP, write all the code yourself, constantly break things, and eventually, website! This new-fangled nonsense of click and drag and know no coding has somehow made it much more difficult for me. Just the simple act of figuring out how to go about buying the domain and website was surprisingly tedious, despite the fact that everyone told me it was so easy these days. My brain was apparently not made for the alleged simplicity of modern interneting.
