Our first week-long vacation together.
We spent a week in the greater Boston area. On the way up, we visited Weir farm in CT, and on the way back we visited Springfield Armory, which is showcased separately. Boston included Historic Boston, Boston Harbor, Salem, Cape Cod, Saugus Ironworks, and the Freedom Trail. Boston was probably the most walking I’ve done in my life (though DC gave it a run for its money) and that was mostly thanks to the Freedom Trail. We were recovering from COVID during this trip, and it’s (allegedly) where Brian had planned on proposing had we not been incredibly ill the week prior. I really loved Salem and Boston commons, and if given the chance, I’d love to go back. -G
